Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create a WiserCal account, we collect your name, email address, and password. If you sign up via a third-party service (Google, Microsoft), we receive the profile information you authorize.

Scheduling Data

We collect information about your calendar availability, event types, booking preferences, and meeting details — including titles, descriptions, attendee names, and email addresses provided during the booking process.

Calendar Integrations

When you connect a calendar (Google Calendar, Outlook, Apple Calendar), we access your calendar data solely to check availability and create events on your behalf. We never read the contents of your calendar events beyond what is necessary for scheduling.

Usage and Technical Data

We automatically collect log data including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and pages visited. We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session and measure product analytics.

Payment Information

For paid plans, payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. WiserCal does not store your card details directly. Billing information displayed in your account settings — such as the last four digits of your card and cardholder name — is sourced from Paddle and displayed for your reference only.

How We Use Your Information

Providing the Service

We use your information to operate WiserCal — to create your booking pages, check calendar availability, schedule meetings, send confirmations and reminders, and process payments.

Improving the Product

Aggregated, anonymized usage data helps us understand how people use WiserCal, identify bugs, and build new features. We never sell individual usage data.

Communications

We send transactional emails (booking confirmations, reminders, receipts) and, with your consent, product updates and newsletters. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

Security and Fraud Prevention

We use data to detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions and other illegal activities, and to protect the rights and property of WiserCal and its users.

3

Sharing Your Information

With Meeting Invitees

When someone books a meeting with you, their name and email are shared with you, and your name and event details are shared with them. This is necessary to facilitate the meeting.

Service Providers

We share data with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate WiserCal, including vendors that provide cloud hosting, payment processing, email delivery, and analytics. These providers are only given access to the data necessary to perform their services and are required to protect it.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or prevent imminent harm.

Business Transfers

If WiserCal is acquired or merges with another company, your information may be transferred as a business asset. We will notify you before your data is subject to a different privacy policy.

4

Data Retention

Active Accounts

We retain your data as long as your account is active. You may request account deletion at any time by contacting us at info@wisercal.com. We will process your request promptly and permanently remove your data within 30 days of confirmation.

Meeting Records

Past meeting records are retained for 12 months after the meeting date to enable you to review your scheduling history. You may request earlier deletion.

Legal Obligations

Some data may be retained longer where required by applicable law, such as financial records for tax compliance, which we retain for 7 years.

5

Your Rights

Access and Portability

You may request a copy of all personal data we hold about you at any time. We will provide it in a structured, machine-readable format within 30 days.

Correction

You may correct inaccurate personal data directly in your account settings or by contacting our support team.

Deletion

You may request that we delete your personal data. We will comply promptly except where retention is required by law or legitimate business necessity.

International Users

WiserCal is open to users globally. If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, you may have additional rights under applicable law — including the right to object to or restrict processing, and to lodge a complaint with a local supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@wisercal.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Cookies

Essential Cookies

These are required for the service to function — for example, to keep you logged in. They cannot be disabled.

Analytics Cookies

We use cookies to understand how visitors interact with our website. This data is aggregated and does not identify individuals. You may opt out via your browser settings or our cookie banner.

Managing Cookies

Most browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of WiserCal.
